Discussions and how to add topics to them

Discussions are where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages or questions. Students will form a sense of community where they can get together, talk about a certain topic, ask and answer questions.

To add a topic for discussions,

  1. Go to your dashboard and click on discussions
  2. Click on +topic
  3. A pop up will appear:
    1. Topic Title – is where you post the name of your discussion. Can be a topic or a question
    2. Restrictions – you can restrict your discussions to certain enrollees or make it general to everyone by choosing no restriction
  4. Click Save
  5. The discussion has now been added!
    1. Edit contents of your discussion
    2. Delete your discussion
    3. Your discussion title
    4. The instructor who created the discussion
    5. Date the discussion was created
    6. Number of questions or answers posted in the discussion
